How many rooms are in the hotel?

Hotel Zephyr has 361 guestrooms.

What are the check-in and check out-times?

Check in is 4:00 pm on the day of arrival and check out is 11:00 am on the day of departure.

What type of beds are in the rooms?

All rooms have either a king size bed or two double beds.


Does the hotel have connecting rooms?

We have 32 sets of connecting rooms (either double beds or one king bed per room)

Does the hotel have smoking rooms?

No, smoking is not permitted in any of our rooms or public spaces.

Do any rooms have hot tubs or Jacuzzis in them?


Are the rooms air conditioned?

Yes, all the rooms are air conditioned and have individually controlled thermostats.

Do the rooms have tea/coffee makers?

Yes, all rooms have a Keurig coffee maker.

Do the rooms have irons and ironing boards in them? 




Refrigerators are available in all rooms. Microwave is available upon request.

Does the hotel have Parking?

Yes, the hotel has a parking structure on-site as well as valet service. Parking charges per day apply with in-and-out access.


What is the charge for overnight parking?

For guests, overnight self parking is $58 +tax; hourly self-park runs $5 per 30 minutes with a max rate of $65 per day +tax.


What is the charge for valet Parking?

The charge for overnight guest valet is $62 +tax. Overnight guest valet with late checkout adds $10 +tax (applied after 3pm*). Hourly valet service is available at $15 per hour with a max rate of $60 per day +tax.


Does the hotel have parking for vans, rv’s, OR EV’s?

Currently, we do not offer parking for RVs. Vans are permitted and must be sure to use only a single space to accommodate all guests. Coming February 2020 – Hotel Zephyr will offer 9 Tesla-only charging stations, and 3 Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations. There will be no charge for use of these stations, other than standard parking rates. However, there is a 12 hour time limit in which your vehicle may be parked at the charging station.


does the hotel have ADa compliant rooms?

Yes, rooms are suitable for guests who use wheelchairs and the rooms can be equipped for those with visual and hearing impairments.

Does the hotel have a GYM?

Yes, our fitness center is open 24 hours a day. It’s equipped with premium LifeFitness® machines and bikes, an assortment of free weights, and strength machines. Plus, yoga mats, and Bosu balance trainer.


Does the hotel offer dry cleaning?

Yes, laundry is sent out daily and returned the same day.


What kind of view dOes a bay view room provide?

These rooms provide a full view of the bay, Alcatraz and Pier 39.


Do any rooms have balconies?

Select rooms have balconies. 


Is there a place to store luggage?

Yes, luggage can be checked at reception while you are waiting for your room or after check out. 


Are there safes in the rooms?

Yes, each room has a safe large enough for a standard size laptop and small valuables.


Is there a restaurant in the hotel?

Our Zephyr Walk offers seven food outlets, including Fire and Brew, The Camper, iHOP, Mango Crazy, Starbucks, Wetzel Pretzel, and Hot Spud.


How can i pay for a room with a third-party credit card?

Third-party payments must be received seven days prior to arrival to allow time for processing. Third-party payments are not accepted for same day reservations.
